Ghana Walk 2025: A Nation United for Health and Wellness

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, hundreds of Ghanaians gathered at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium to take part in the first-ever Ghana Walk 2025, a national walkathon organized by TNYou Fitness in collaboration with key health stakeholders. This landmark event was not just a walk; it was a movement powered by purpose, community, and the collective commitment to tackling non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Ghana.
A 10KM Route of Impact

The event kicked off at 6:00 AM sharp, with walkers energised and ready to complete the carefully mapped 10-kilometer route. The walk took participants from the UG Stadium through American House, ARS Roundabout, UPSA, and back to the stadium. From students and professionals to health advocates and corporate teams, the turnout reflected the wide appeal and shared mission of the walk: to promote healthy living and raise awareness for NCDs such as hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease.
National Recognition and Media Coverage
The event received nationwide attention, with coverage by two of Ghana’s leading media houses; Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and Onua TV.
News outlets like MSN, GH link, and Ghana Web also covered the event.
These news features highlighted the importance of community-driven health campaigns and the urgent need for sustained efforts to reduce the burden of NCDs in the country. The coverage further validated the impact of the Ghana Walk and helped extend its reach far beyond the stadium grounds.
LIVING ON THE EDGE; WHY YOUR LIFESTYLE MIGHT BE KILLING YOU!
A Movement Begins

Ghana Walk 2025 was more than a one-day event. It was a demonstration of what is possible when communities come together for a common goal: better health. It sparked conversations, encouraged lifestyle change, and brought visibility to the critical issues surrounding NCDs.
